High Speed Robotic Arm (UHS)
A rotary motor driven by a servo motor for auxiliary needs. In order to achieve the fastest workpiece movement speed and shorten the mold opening time to less than 1 second, WITTMANN developed a very high-speed robotic arm.

In order to achieve the goal of shortening the movement time of the workpiece for a long time, the vertical axis is directly driven by the planetary gear box, which is mounted on the large-sized roller belt. This ensures direct force transfer while minimizing moving weight.
In order to be able to mechanically absorb acceleration and deceleration forces of up to 65 m/s2, the vertical shaft is designed with a very torsionally oscillating arm and ribbed reinforcement inside. The vertical axis is made of aluminum profile and adopts finite element analysis design method, which has the advantages of lightest weight and highest strength.
